Ground Breaking
Whitney Street Ground Breaking. The ground breaking ceremony for the Whitney Street home was held on June 25, 2005. The mayor of Nashua, Bernard A. Streeter was the featured speaker at the ceremony and was on hand to officially break ground. Reverend Dr. Jeffrey C. Evans provided the Invocation and Benedition, while Paul McLauglin and Jody Corbett each provided a special reading. The ceremony was attended by several Nashua Habitat for Humanity volunteers including Jerry J. Harrow who provided an overview of the project. Refreshments were on hand for all. Construction was slated to begin the following weekend. |
